I get asked where I came up with the name Flora Bond all the time, so here is the story.
Picked up a vintage 1920 yearbook at the thrift store a few years ago. I love looking at the vintage photos and reading the messages. Came across a very small signature in the front, signed simply "Flora Bond" as seen in the photo above. I did not find a photo of her in it though.
What do you think she looked like?
Aw, I love that story! That's cool. And it perfectly represents your shop vibe.
ReplyDeleteOH, I love that, very romantic story, I think she had light brown hair swirled up in a loose bun, at the nape of her neck, soft curls loose at the sides and she wore a locket made in the shape of a rose. She had rosy pink lips and gorgeous big eyes, she carried a a large beige and rose pink clutch purse, very modern in those days and a smitten young boy carried her school books as he trailed behind her. She was strong yet ever so, so feminine.
ReplyDeleteI love your description of Flora ShirazandFrenchBlue, thank you!
